Quoted before work

Month guarantee
You get a figure before anything is touched.
Every job is quoted in writing before work starts. The quote covers parts, labour and any consumables, so the invoice at the end is the figure you already agreed to.
If we find something else once the car is on the hoist, we stop and call you. Nothing gets added to the bill without you saying yes first. That single rule removes the most common complaint people have about workshops.
Diagnostic time is charged separately and stated up front, because tracing a fault is real work. Reading a code takes minutes; finding out why it appeared is the part that takes skill.

Servicing here does not void anything.
Australian consumer law is clear on this: you can have a logbook service done at any qualified workshop without affecting a new-car warranty, provided the manufacturer's schedule is followed and the correct parts and fluids are used.
We follow that schedule item by item, use parts meeting the manufacturer specification, and stamp your logbook. The service history stays complete, which matters both for a future warranty claim and at resale.
If a dealership has told you otherwise, ask them to put it in writing. They generally will not.

If our work fails, we fix it.
Our labour is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of invoice. If something we did fails inside that window, bring the car back and we put it right at no charge.
Parts carry their manufacturer's own warranty, which varies by supplier. We tell you the term before you commit, so you know what you are covered for on both counts.
This sits on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be signed away and which we do not attempt to limit.

Your insurer suggests. They do not decide.
On most Australian policies you can nominate any repairer for an accident claim. An insurer recommending their preferred shop is not the same as requiring it, and being told to use a particular repairer is worth checking against your product disclosure statement.
Once you nominate us, we handle the assessment, the quote, the authority to proceed, and any supplementary claim if hidden damage turns up during strip-down. You pay your excess and nothing further.
If the car cannot be driven, we arrange towing to the workshop and start the assessment as soon as it arrives.

Genuine, aftermarket or reconditioned, and what each costs.
We tell you which type of part a quote is based on and what the alternatives cost. On an older car, a quality aftermarket part is often the sensible call; on a newer one under warranty, genuine is usually worth it. Either way it should be your decision, not a silent one.
Old parts are kept if you want to see what came off. Ask when you book and they will be waiting at collection.
Where you supply your own parts we will fit them if it is safe and practical, though we cannot warrant parts we did not supply.

One assessment. One timeline. One phone number.
Most workshops do mechanical or panel work, not both. After an accident that split becomes your problem: a car needing suspension work alongside a panel repair gets handed between two businesses, each waiting on the other.
Doing both here means one assessment, one schedule, and one business accountable for the result. It also means the diagnostic equipment used on a routine service is the same equipment used to recalibrate safety systems after a repair, which modern vehicles require once a camera or radar sensor has been disturbed.

Questions
No. Australian law allows a logbook service at any qualified workshop, provided the manufacturer's schedule is followed and correct parts and fluids are used. We follow the schedule and stamp the book.
On most Australian policies, no. You can nominate your own repairer. Some policies restrict choice, so it is worth checking your product disclosure statement, but a recommendation is not a requirement.
We stop and call you with a revised figure. Nothing beyond the original quote proceeds without your authorisation. On an insurance claim we lodge a supplementary claim rather than passing the cost to you.
Workmanship is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of invoice. Parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which we state before you commit.
