Air conditioning

Air conditioning loses a little refrigerant every year through normal seal permeation. If it has stopped cooling entirely, there is usually a leak, and regassing without finding it just vents the new gas out again.

What it costs

Depends on refrigerant type and capacity. Newer vehicles using R1234yf cost noticeably more to fill than older R134a systems.
